Global Digital Releasing has acquired Worldwide distribution rights for the indie romantic comedy Paperback. The film will release, through Video-on-demand, this January 23rd, via most major digital retailers.
Paperback was written and directed by Sundance alum Adam Bowers (New Low, 2010). Bowers also plays the lead character, Rob, a pizza cook in the college town that he never left. When he meets the girl of his dreams, played by Dreama Walker ("Doubt"), things get tricky. He discovers that she is married to an old friend, who just moved back to town.
The film has played at several film festivals. Paperback was an Official Selection at the Austin Film Festival (2015), the Independent Film Festival Boston (2016) and Indie Grits (2016). Paperback is set for a January 23rd North American release on most digital platforms including: Amazon Prime, iTunes, Vudu, Google Play and Xbox. This release will be followed by a DVD release and a wider, international release through iFlix.<
