Thirtysomething Scott Stratton (J. Michael Silver) has given up on life after the death of his father. Frustrated by her inability to snap him out of it, his sister Mia (Amy Hedrick) hires Carla (Kelly Thiebaud), a not-so-sensitive life coach, in an attempt to motivate him out of his slump and back into living a productive life.

Faced with being fired by her boss for her unconventional motivational skills, Carla embarks down the road of “fixing” Scott by any means necessary.
